About Me:
Though I have been a commercial pilot since 1995, I also decided to start a home-based business in 2005. As a pilot, I have a lot of free time between trips and thought a small business was a great way to keep myself occupied. I began attending networking events to promote my business. While Phoenix is a great city for small business opportunities and networking, I discovered that finding events to attend was very time consuming. Most events are promoted via email or company and chamber of commerce sites. I missed a few key events over the years because I was not in the loop. I could not believe that a metro area as diverse as Phoenix did not have a single source that a small business owner could visit to find networking events. In early 2008, I decided to do something about it and started Sonoran Mixer News. I plan to make the Sonoran Mixer News website the top development tool for Southern Arizona small business owners.

This site is a joint effort between two small business owners who want to help other small business owners grow. Eric is the master of small business networking and loves meeting new people. Jasmine is a marketing expert specializing in graphic and website design. Together we are working on many improvements add even more functionality to the site.
